Lisa’s story with the Firm dates back to 1989, when she joined Peter Cooperman as a co-op student. Her strong work ethics, professionalism and pursue of excellence led her to be named Partner eight years later.

Lisa attended Brock University for the Co-Op Accounting Program, receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration with first class honours. She obtained her Canadian CPA designation in 1993 and was made Partner in 1997, the same year she was designated CPA in the US (Michigan).

In her over 30 years of public accounting experience, Lisa has become a trusted advisor to small and mid-sized owner-managed businesses in the Niagara Region and nearby areas. Through her deep understanding of cross-border tax and compliance matters, Lisa has helped a variety of local businesses, individuals and industry peers.

Although now retired, Lisa continues to support businesses and individuals in a Consultant capacity. She remains close to the Firm’s leadership, carrying on her legacy to the new generation of CPAs in the Niagara Region.
